Guten Morgen!

My husband and I have made it to Germany! We started off the vacation in Fussen, a small town on the southern border of Germany, 5km north of Austria. What a beautiful place to see. We had great weather, great food and met some really nice people. Both of us signed up for a race while we were here and we visited the castles. I cannot wait to come back next year!

Jet lag...

I'm back in Singapore and I am exhausted from a short trip to the US. I haven't been able to get out yet so I will try to keep your interest with a few of my favorite pictures. I promise to beat my jet lag asap and have a more interesting post next week.

This picture was taken at the Sentosa Butterfly Garden in Singapore. Small space with tons of butterflies. You are almost guaranteed a good picture.

This was just outside a Jain temple in Kolkata, India. We were told this is what the Jain groom rides to his wedding. 

I wish there was a reference point so you could see how big this guy is. A monitor lizard, about 5 or 6 feet long, laying in the sun at Tioman Island, Malaysia. These guys were here everyday, usually more than just 1.

There were about 12 cows in a field and they had a sort of leash around their necks so I thought it would be OK to go over and take their pictures. Turns out the "leashes" were just hanging there, tied to nothing, and then they started fighting with each other and running around. Probably didn't like me getting too close, I bet they are sick of tourists taking their picture. This was also Langkawi Island, Malaysia.

Monkeys in Bangalore, India at Nandi Hills. There were tons of monkeys running around. I really dislike monkeys, never trust them! Didn't stay too long at this park.
