A look back at Germany.

Hello again! I apologize for not posting last week. The Tokyo Marathon is 1 month away and my legs are really feeling tired these days. This along with the typical Singapore weather of hot and super humid, its hard to get out there and take photos every week.  Maybe I should consider a blog name change? KK's every other Friday Photo Friday, KK's sometimes Friday sometimes not Photo Friday? How about KK's Singapore Blog with occasional posts and photos? Well, maybe I'll keep the name and just post when I can. I have a good idea for next week that just came to me this morning. Hopefully it works out and next Friday I can post new photos that maybe do not include so much walking around town.

This week I went over my photos from our trip to Germany last year. I need some photography inspiration so I thought it would be nice if I could have a few more of my photos printed and hung in our house. We currently do not have any of Germany hung so that is where I spent most of my time this week, going through my photos and trying to find one that is good enough to print. Here is what I found.

This statue on the post was in the middle of a fountain in the center of a square surrounded by restaurants and small hotels. We absolutely loved Germany.

Ludwig's castle in the distance. I don't think I'll print this one but it is really nice. The sun was a bit strong for the photo to come out clear.

Another castle that is pretty close to Ludwig's. This castle was much closer, walking distance. To see Ludwigs we had to take a scary bus ride up the side of a mountain.

Back to Ludwig's castle. After surviving the bus ride we walked the rest of the way up a hill to take a tour of the inside. Beautiful views along the way.

Part of the original town walls of Fussen.

Tiny white flowers.

Loving the rooftops and the round windows.

This is one of my favorite photos. Not sure if I'll print it though.

The Viktualienmarkt in Munich.

Munich Beer Garden. It was so nice to be there in June and to sit outside and have a sausage and a beer. It could get pretty crowded at times but still very nice.

A view from Ludwig's castle. I think this is my winner. I'll get this printed and hung next week.

Small street in Munich near Marionplatz.

Ludwig's castle. These photos are so out of order!!!

Sunlight filtering through trees in Fussen. This was part of the marathon route that my husband ran while we were in town.

Beautiful old houses on cobblestone streets in Fussen.
